Hey you! I know it’s been a while but I am so glad you’re here! I can’t believe it’s been five months since my last post… I’ll tell you what though – time flies when you’re busy!
Here is an update on some things that have been happening over the last few months:
- Esther is busy as ever – walking, talking, interacting with her stuffed animals, and learning how to dress herself!
- I started a new business as a virtual health + wellness coach at the end of May!
- I started my 10th fitness program in the last 15 months!
- We moved for the first time as a family of three last weekend!
A little over one month ago, we hit the one year mark that this blog baby of mine has been public! It has been so much fun sharing my thoughts in this way with you all and I have so appreciated all your kind words. In the last couple of months, there have been so many changes in our life and routine and it has made it really hard to sit down and write.
One of those changes was stepping into the role of a virtual health + wellness coach at the end of May. This was something I had been thinking about doing for months before I actually jumped into it. One of the things that held me back was this thought of “what if I fail?” What if I went all in and shared about how excited I was all over social media and talked about it with my friends and then I wasn’t successful and had to stop a few months in? I think it’s always scary trying a new thing, especially something you’re really excited for, because what if it doesn’t work out.
Turns out, I love it! I have shared a few times that one of the things I would love to do in life is be a counsellor. Specifically in the area of marriage and family. As a coach, one of the things that I get to do every day is connect with the girls in my tribe and love on them and encourage them. And often, the encouragement goes beyond keeping them accountable with their fitness program. Often it leads to encouraging them in other areas of their lives and helping them grow in every area.
I’ll be honest, it is not always easy to balance the working at home / mom life but we are making it work. I am working on a kind of behind the scenes post about how I make this coaching thing work and what it looks like in our family life.
Anyways, that’s a little bit about what I’ve been up to lately. I also wanted to let you know that I’ve heard you and I hope to show up around here more often! I’ve missed writing and I hear you’ve missed my writing! Hope you all have a great weekend!
